Removal and installation the fuel injection system control unit (Opel Vivaro A)

The injection system control unit is located under the protective cover below the expansion tank.

Removal



1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Unscrew bolt 1 of the expansion tank and move it to the side (figure 3.111). Disconnect the wiring connectors from the boost pressure control solenoid valve 2, the boost pressure sensor 3 and the wiring connector from the pre- and post-heating unit.

3. Unscrew the 4 bolts securing the casing and remove it by moving it upwards (figure 3.112).

4. Unscrew the bolts 5 securing the control unit and remove it, having first disconnected the wiring connectors from the unit (figure 3.113).

Installation



5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
