Disassembly and assembly of the engine (Opel Frontera B)

Disassembly

Remove the engine from the car (see the relevant chapter).

Disconnect all connectors, cables and hoses from the engine.



Install the engine on the KM-4120 stand using KM-412-8-1-2 adapters.

Remove all parts from the engine (see the relevant chapters).

Installation

Check the engine number (arrow) stamped on the cylinder block.

In the reverse order of removal, install all previously removed parts (see the relevant chapters).

Tighten all bolts and nuts to the torques specified in "Technical specifications".

Remove the engine from the KM-412 stand and remove the adapters from the KM-412-8-1-2 from the engine.

Install the engine into the car (see the relevant chapter).
