Removal
Remove the lower engine compartment protection.
Place a container under the oil drain plug to collect any leaking oil. Remove the plug and drain the engine oil from the engine.
Disconnect the oil level sensor connector (1).

Remove the bolts and remove the oil pan from the cylinder block. Be careful not to damage the mating surfaces of the oil pan and cylinder block.
Installation
Use a scraper to remove any remaining gasket material from the mating surfaces of the oil pan and cylinder block.
Install the oil pan with a new gasket and secure with bolts, tightening them as follows:
- 1st pass: tighten the bolt to 8 Nm;
- 2nd pass: turn the bolt further by 30°.
Connect the connector to the oil level sensor.
Screw the plug with a new seal into the oil pan and tighten it to a torque of 55 N·m.
Install the lower engine compartment protection.

Fill the engine with the required amount of the required motor oil.
