Replacing the oil filter (Opel Frontera B)

Removal

Remove the lower engine compartment protection.

Using the special tool KM-726-A, unscrew the oil filter (1).

Installation

Clean the mating surface on the cylinder block.

Lubricate the rubber seal of the new oil filter with clean engine oil

Screw the oil filter onto the heat exchanger and tighten it to a torque of 15 Nm.

Install the lower engine compartment protection.

Check the engine oil level and correct it if necessary.
