Bypass manifold (Opel Frontera B)

Removal

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

Remove the lower engine compartment protection.

Disconnect the front exhaust pipe from the bypass manifold.

Using special pliers KM-717, disconnect the connectors (1) from the glow plugs.

Remove the center heat shield from the exhaust manifold and bypass manifold.

Disconnect the bypass manifold (1) from the turbocharger.

Installation

Attach the bypass manifold to the turbocharger and front exhaust pipe.

Attach the bypass manifold to the turbocharger.

Install the exhaust manifold and bypass manifold center heat shield.

Use special pliers KM-717 to connect the connectors to the glow plugs.

Install the lower engine compartment protection.

Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
