When removing and installing the oil pan, in addition to the cross member, both engine mounts must be removed from the chassis. The engine must be lifted with a hoist to remove the load from the supports. The front of the car must be raised and placed on stands.
1. Remove the sump shield.
2. Remove the cross member at the front of the vehicle.
3. Turn away bolts, remove the left and right support of the engine and lift the engine. Be careful not to pinch the cooling fan.
4. Turn away bolts and disconnect the left and right beams of the bridge from a longitudinal beam. Lower the axle onto a garage lift to increase the clearance under the oil pan.
5. Remove the drain plug from the bottom of the oil pan.
6. Turn away bolts and remove the bottom part of the pallet crankcase. After that, disconnect the upper part of the crankcase. Remove the oil pickup screen if necessary.
7. Thoroughly clean all mating surfaces of old sealant.
8. Lubricate with sealant the left and right planes of interface with the crankcase of the drive mechanism of the distribution mechanism and the place on the rear cover of the main bearing.
9. Put a gasket on the oil pan (by lubricating it with a small amount of grease to secure it) and press the oil pan against the cylinder block. Tighten the bolts evenly around the circumference with a torque of 8 Nm. Install the lower part of the oil pan.
10. Lower the engine onto the mounts and bolt both mounts (52 Nm).
11. Finally, fill the engine with the required amount of engine oil.
