If the engine has an oil cooler, it is located under the front of the vehicle. To get to the oil cooler, you need to remove the radiator grille of the cooling system.
1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
2. Remove the sump guard.
3. Substitute the container and drain the oil by unscrewing the plug.
4. Remove the grille. The oil cooler is visible below.
5. Disconnect the oil lines from the radiator and remove the radiator. Be careful not to damage the radiator.
The oil cooler is installed in the reverse order of its removal. Observe tightening torques.
After installation, fill the engine with the prescribed amount of engine oil.
