2. Drive out the small pin that secures the choke control handle to the end of the cable. Unscrew and remove the handle.
3. Remove the retaining ring or nut securing the choke regulator to the dashboard. Push the regulator inward and disconnect the indicator light switch (if provided).
4. Remove the air cleaner.
5. Disconnect the outer and inner cables from the carburetor. On some carburetors, the internal cable is secured with a set screw that requires an Allen key to remove (see photo).

6. Pull out the rubber bushing on the partition and remove the cable.

7. The cable is installed in the reverse order. Adjust the position of the inner and outer cables (see section 11).
