1. Park the car on a level surface, remove the expansion tank cap and set the heater control to the "full heat" position. If you changed the coolant less than 2 years ago, you should collect it for reuse.
2. Place a clean container under the lower radiator hose and loosen the hose clamp. Disconnect the hose and allow the liquid to drain into a container.
3. Close the container to prevent dirt from getting into the liquid.
4. Since there is no drain plug on the cylinder block, and the lower radiator hose may be located in the middle of the radiator, it will not be possible to completely drain the liquid. Keep this in mind when adding new coolant (the concentration of antifreeze must be maintained).
