Vacuum Servo Hose — Replacement (Opel Ascona C)

1. Loosen the union nut on the intake manifold and disconnect the vacuum hose.

2. Release the hose from the connector at the servo unit by unscrewing the snap ring. If the hose is a shrink type, do not apply excessive force, but simply remove the elbow from the rubber ring in the servo housing.

3. Carefully cut a piece of new servo hose, taking into account the non-return valve.

4. Remove the non-return valve by cutting the hose lengthwise from the valve, but be careful not to damage the valve. Cut the hose from the intake manifold and servo connectors.

5. When assembling, make sure that the arrows on the non-return valve point towards the intake manifold. Attach the hose to the manifold tube using a snap ring.
