Removal
1. Remove the transmission (Section 7B).
2. Lock the drive disc from rotating by pinching the ring gear with a large screwdriver or other suitable tool.
3. Unscrew and remove the drive disc. Inspect the bolts, replace them as a set if you are unsure about their condition.
4. If necessary, the ring gear can be checked and replaced as described in Chapter 25.
Installation
5. Installation is the reverse of removal. If the bolts are reused, clean the threads with a wire brush, apply a few drops of thread locking compound (Opel #90167347, or equivalent). Tighten the bolts to the torque specified in the Specifications.
6. Install the transmission, using the following guide if necessary Section 7B.
