Central locking (Opel Frontera B)

The central locking system controls the door locks, the tailgate and the fuel filler flap.

Locking

Press the rear button on the remote control or turn the key in the driver's door lock towards the front of the car, then return it to the vertical position and remove it from the lock.



To lock the doors from inside the vehicle, press the lock button on the driver's door after closing the doors.

Unlocking

Click on the button remote control or turn the key in the driver's door lock towards the rear of the car, then return it to the upright position and remove it from the lock.

To unlock the doors from inside the vehicle, lift the lock button on the driver's door.



To prevent the door locks from being locked from the outside when the key is inside the vehicle, the driver's door lock will not lock if the lock button is pressed while the door is open.

In the event of an accident, the door locks will open automatically, provided that the ignition has not been turned off.



To lock all doors, press the switch on the dashboard (cars with manual windows) or on the front of the switch on the door trim (cars with electric windows).

To unlock all doors, press the switch on the dashboard (cars with manual windows) or on the back of the switch on the door trim (cars with electric windows).
