Warning: Always check that the hood is closed and locked securely. If the hood is not closed or not securely latched, it is dangerous because it may open when the vehicle is moving, blocking the driver's view and causing a serious collision.
Pull the handle and unlock the hood lock, the hood should rise slightly. Release the handle and make sure it returns to its original position.
From the front of the hood, press the safety device lever and open the hood.
To support the hood in the open position, install a support post in the hood gap.
Before closing the hood, check the area under the hood for any loose covers or foreign objects (for example, tools, etc.).
To close the hood correctly, lower it to a height of 20 cm and release. Before driving, make sure the hood is securely latched.
