Pull the hood release handle on the driver's side under the instrument panel. The hood will release and open slightly. Press the handle back to its original position.

About a hand's width to the right of the center of the hood - when viewed from the front - there is a locking hook on the underside of the hood: pull and open the hood.
Note: Dirt or snow on the hood may fall onto the windshield when opened and clog the air intake.

To secure the hood in the open position, insert the support located across the radiator into the longitudinal groove on the bottom of the hood.
Before closing, press the support firmly into the holder. Let the hood fall into the lock.
Check the hood lock by pulling it from the front edge. If the hood is not locked, repeat the previous operation.
