Anti-theft alarm device (Opel Corsa C)

The anti-theft alarm device monitors the doors, trunk, hood, interior of the car, tilt of the car, for example when lifting, and ignition.

All doors, windows, sunroof and bonnet must be closed. Within 10 seconds of locking, press the remote control button again.

If the ignition was turned on, the driver's door must be opened and closed to enable the anti-theft alarm to be activated.

1. Close the trunk and hood.

2. Press the button in front of the interior light (with ignition off), the LED flashes for a maximum of 10 s.



3. Close the doors.

4. Turn on the anti-theft alarm device, the LED is on. After about 10 seconds, the device will be activated - without monitoring the interior and tilt of the car. The LED continues to flash until the device is turned off.

During the first 10 seconds after the anti-theft alarm device is turned on:
  • the LED is on, which means control and turn-on delay;
  • the LED is flashing, this means that the door, tailgate, hood is open, or the system is faulty.

If the LED flashes after approximately 10 seconds of turning on the anti-theft alarm device, this means that the device is turned on.

If the LED lights up for about 1 second, then its function is disabled.

If a malfunction occurs in the system, you should contact a service station for assistance.

Press the key (see picture) remote control devices or turn on the ignition.



If the remote control is faulty, turn the key in the driver's door lock all the way forward. Turn the key back to the vertical position and remove it.

If the alarm goes off when you open the driver's door, turn off the anti-theft alarm device by turning on the ignition.

Unlocking: Turn the key all the way to the right – the trunk is unlocked, the interior control and vehicle tilt devices are disabled.

Open the trunk.

Close the trunk.

Locking: Turn the key back to the horizontal or vertical position. After about 10 seconds, the interior and vehicle tilt control will be reactivated.

Signaling



When the anti-theft alarm system is turned on, the following alarms may be triggered: sound (beep) and light (hazard warning lights with all direction indicators).

The number and duration of signals are limited by law.

The alarm can be turned off by pressing the remote control button or turning on the ignition. Pressing the button or turning on the ignition simultaneously turns off the anti-theft alarm device.
