Opening the hood (Opel Zafira A)

The hood lock drive handle is located under the instrument panel in the side trim niche. To open the hood, pull the drive handle towards you.



The front edge of the hood will lift slightly, and a locking rod will appear at the top of the radiator grille next to the emblem. Grasp the lower part of the hood with your left hand and pull the rod, lifting the hood up.



To fix the hood in the open position, it is necessary to release the hood stop from the retaining clamp.

Then you need to turn the stop to a vertical position and lower the hood a little so that the stop fits into a special hole in the hood.
