- A. The resistance of the coil windings should be measured with the ignition off.
- b. Do not connect the ohmmeter (or any other device with its own voltage source) to the Hall sensor of the system.
- V. Do not charge the battery in rapid mode and do not use it for "lighting a cigarette " voltage source rated over 16 V.
- d. Do not use the system with an ignition coil of a type other than that recommended in the Specifications.
- e. Do not connect RFI suppression capacitors or test lamps to coil terminal 1.
- e. Do not ground terminal 1 of the coil or connect it to the positive terminal of the battery.
- and. If necessary, turn off the ignition system (for example when checking compression) Ground the high voltage wire of the coil or disconnect the plug from the control unit.
2. Please be aware that some types of tachometers may occasionally give incorrect readings when used with this type of system. This is not a sign of a faulty ignition system.
