2. On models with 1.6/1.8 L engines, the ignition module is located on the coil support plate. In order to get to the module, you must remove the coil (see section 20).
3. After the coil is removed from its bracket, you can remove the bolts securing the ignition module to the support plate (see photo).

4. If you are going to install a new module, it should be accompanied by silicone grease, which is applied to the base plate to improve heat dissipation (see photo).

5. Install the ignition module in the reverse order. Check that the locating pins on the module fit into the holes on the support plate.
