2. The faulty pump can be removed and replaced with a new one by rocking it and removing it from its hole in the reservoir. When installing a new pump, use a new rubber gasket.
3. Use a flexible rubber sleeve to connect the plastic tube to the pump, since directly pushing the plastic tube directly onto the pump nozzle may damage it.
4. The wash nozzles must be adjusted so that the jet of liquid hits the windshield directly above the wipers ("wipers") cleaner in position "turned off". Use a thin pin to adjust the nozzles.
