The front and rear windshield washers are supplied with water from a common reservoir located in the engine compartment. Depending on the direction of rotation of the pump, water flows either to the windshield or the rear window.
1. Check the pump. To do this, disconnect its connector, turn on the ignition and the windscreen and rear window washer and check for voltage at the pump connector. If there is voltage in both cases and the pump has not worked, replace the pump.
2. Remove windshield fairing (see chapter Body).
On vehicles with headlight lens washers, the reservoir is not under the windshield fairing, so the fairing does not need to be removed.
3. Give a nut of fastening at the tank.
4. Disconnect the connector and disconnect the pump water hoses.
