Tail Light Assembly — Removal and Installation of the Complete Saloon and Hatchback Assembly (Opel Ascona C)

1. Remove the rear side trim panel to access the electrical wiring.

2. Disconnect and remove the bulb holder (see photo 29.15B).

3. Turn and remove the fog light socket.

4. Loosen the four mounting nuts and remove the rear light assembly from the body.

5. Reinstall by following the above steps in reverse order.

Estate

6. Remove the rear side trim panel to gain access to the electrical wiring. Disconnect the electrical wiring plug from the rear of the tail light assembly.

7. Loosen the four mounting screws and remove the unit. Once the rubber cover is removed, the bulb holder and wiring can be removed.

8. Reinstall by following the above steps in reverse order.
