Rear Window Defogger — Maintenance (Opel Ascona C)

1. Care must be taken not to damage the rear window heating element.

2. Avoid scratching the glass with rings or fingers when cleaning, and do not allow luggage to come into contact with the glass.

3. Do not stick stickers on the element or on the inner surface of the glass.

4. If the element strips become damaged, there is a special paint for their restoration, which can be purchased at most stores.

5. Do not leave the element on unnecessarily, as it draws a large amount of current from the vehicle's electrical system.
