1. This equipment is standard on most models.
2. The operation of the system is controlled by switches located on the center console.
3. If a malfunction occurs, first check the circuit fuse and then the circuit contacts for reliability.
4. Access to the motors located on the doors can be gained after removing the inner decorative panels of the doors, as described in Chapter 11.
5. Disconnect the battery, and then disconnect the electrical wiring plugs from the motors.
6. Unscrew the motor mounting screws, or drill out the rivets, and disconnect the operating lever from the glass guide, as described for manually operated windows in Chapter 11. Remove the motor and lever structure.
7. It is not recommended to disassemble the motor; if it breaks, purchase and install a new one.
