2. Disconnect the tubes from the electric pump
3. Mark the route and remove the electric pump wiring from the subframe, disconnect the wire connectors (the wires from the pump are not disconnected).
4. Unscrew the nuts and remove the pump together with the bracket and tank (see photo). It should be noted that on models before 2000 the pump wiring connector is 2-pin, currently the pump with a 3-pin connector and adapter is supplied as spare parts.
5. Unscrew the nuts and remove the pump from the bracket. Check the condition of the rubber bushings that mount the pump, replace if necessary.
6. Installation is performed in the reverse order. Clean the tank filter. When filling the tank, note that the fluid level indicator in the tank in the TRW system is built into the plug, in the Delphi system the indicator is fixed to the bottom of the tank. Remove air from the power steering circuit (see below).
