An accurate check of the wheel alignment is carried out in a car service. The camber and angle of inclination of the axis of rotation are provided by the suspension design and are not subject to adjustment (data is for verification purposes only). On your own, you can only roughly check and adjust the toe-in of the front wheels, for which you need a special ruler. The ruler measures the difference in distance between the inner surfaces of the tires in the center of the wheels (before measuring, the wheels are set to the driving position in a straight line, the loading of the car on the driver's and passenger's seats should be 70 kg each, the tank is half filled, the tire pressure should be correct, there should be no noticeable play in the wheel bearings). First check the tire spacing at the rear of the wheel, mark the marks, then roll the car so that the marks are at the front. Toe-in adjustment is provided by turning the steering rods with the locknuts loosened. Toe-in is checked after every ¼ turn of the rod.
The convergence and camber of the rear wheels are only checked and cannot be adjusted.
