1. The air from the hydraulic booster circuit is removed at room temperature. It is forbidden to perform this procedure phase after the trip. The bleed procedure is the same on TRW and Delphi systems.
2. Bring the level up to the MAX mark on the tank indicator. Start the engine. With the engine running, slowly turn the steering wheel in both directions until it stops, repeating the procedure 3 times.
3. Stop the engine and check the fluid level, add fluid if necessary (see photo).
4. Start the engine and make sure there is no excessive noise from the steering mechanism, repeat the procedure if necessary (increased noise indicates incomplete removal of air).
