2. Remove the intermediate link and tail sections of the exhaust pipe.
3. Note the position of the adjustment nut on the handbrake rod, then unscrew it from the compensator.
4. On one side, disconnect the return spring and disconnect the handbrake cable from the shoe control lever. Disconnect the cable from the suspension on the diagonal arm.
5. Disconnect the hydraulic brake hose from the trailing arm suspension by pulling out the stop.
6. Unscrew the rear brake caliper from the diagonal arm and move it away from the disc, being careful not to damage the brake tube.
7. Repeat the procedure described in points 4, 5, and 6 on the other side of the car.
8. On models with ABS, unscrew the wheel speed sensors from the final drive mechanism.
9. Loosen the slider coupling nut on the propeller shaft one full turn.
10. On the back of the driveshaft, unscrew the bolts that secure the disc's rear hinge to the differential flange. Push the cardan shaft forward and disconnect it from the flange. Support it on an axle stand.
11. Place a wooden beam under the diagonal arms and support in the middle with a jack.
12. Unscrew the back of the final drive mechanism and lower the block onto the beam.
13. Turn off bolts of the bottom fastening of a rod of the shock-absorber on each party.
14. Lower the jack until both the rear coil springs and rubber dampers can be removed. Note that the top rubber dampers are buffered.
15. Raise the jack, then remove the three suspension bolts and the front mount center bolt from the cross member (photo).
16. Lower the rear axle assembly to the ground and remove from under the vehicle.
17. Installation is carried out in the reverse order, but tighten all nuts and bolts to the tightening forces specified specification.
