1. Apply the handbrake, then jack up the front of the vehicle and support it on axle stands.
2. Remove both front lower suspension arms as described in chapter 5.
3. In the engine compartment, unscrew the upper clamping bolts of the front anti-roll bar and unfasten the clamps.
4. Remove nuts securing engine mount brackets to cross member and engine support brackets. Take the pads.
5. Support the weight of the engine using a winch or bed rod (Pic. 10.8). Using a winch, first remove the hood (Section 11).
6. Support the crossbar on a jack and a sturdy block of wood.
7. Remove the four mounting bolts and lower the cross member to the ground. Remove the engine mounting brackets.
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order, but tighten all nuts and bolts with the tightening torque regulated specification.
