Front suspension



Type - Independent MacPherson struts, coil springs and anti-roll bar, double-acting telescopic shock absorbers.

Rear suspension



Type - Independent, semi-trailing arms and coil springs, anti-roll bar, dual-action telescopic shock absorbers, telescopic leveling system on some models.

Rear shock absorber piston air pressure (where it is equipped):
  • Unloaded - 0.8 Vag
  • Loaded - 3.0 Wag

Rear Wheel Installation (Laden*)



Collapse:
  • Sedan - from -2°20' to -1°
  • Station wagon - from -2°5' to -0°45'

Maximum deviation of left and right wheel - 0°25'

Wheel alignment/toe-in adjustment:
  • Sedan - 0°5' toe-in to 0°45' toe-in (from 0.5 to 5.0 mm)
  • Station wagon - 0° - 0°50' toe-in (from 0 to 6.0 mm)

Maximum deviation of left and right wheel - 0°25'

Note: *Laden means the vehicle has two people in the front seats and the fuel tank is half full.

Steering knuckle support*:
  • Stage 1 - 50
  • Stage 2 - 100
  • Stage 3 - Tighten 30°-45°

Hub Nut - 320

Upper rack mount - 70

Transverse stabilizer bar - 65

Front crossmember - 170

Note:* Refers to special bolts that must be replaced after removal.


Rear suspension
