1. Block the front wheels, then jack up the rear of the vehicle and support it on axle stands located under the rear underbody channel lugs. Remove both rear wheels.
2. Detach the rear muffler rear mount rubber mounts, and lower the muffler about 30 cm. Secure the muffler in this position with a wire or twine.
3. Disconnect the hydraulic brake hoses from the trailing arms by pulling out the stops.
4. Support the final drive mechanism on a jack.
5. Remove the three hanger bolts and one center bolt from the cross member mountings on each side and remove the hangers.
6. The settings can now be removed from the crossbar. A dedicated tool for this task is shown in Fig. 10.11. The crossbar must be slightly lowered and the mounting one inserted from above, then assemble the extractor, as shown in the figure and squeeze the nut to get the installation. If you don't have a conventional extractor, use a metal tube, long bolt and large spacers or a metal plate to remove the rig.
7. The installation tool is shown in Fig. 10.1. A similar tool can be made from a metal plate and a long bolt.
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
