Caution: When equipping your vehicle with head airbags, strictly follow the safety precautions (see Chapter 10, Section 11)!
Corsa C models
1. Separate the rubber seal of the rear door opening from the C-pillar (see Section 30).
2. Remove the luggage compartment shelf (see Chapter "Controls and operating techniques", Section 17).
3. Fold the rear seatback forward (see Chapter "Controls and operating techniques", Section 12).
4. Disconnect the wires and insulate the battery terminals. Wait at least 1 minute to allow the SRS independent power source capacitor to discharge completely.
5. On models equipped with head airbags, use a plastic wedge to pry off the service cover on the C-pillar trim (see accompanying illustrations) and carefully remove it.

6. Remove the upper seat belt anchor bracket from the C-pillar (see Section 52), press 6 clamps using a plastic wedge (on 5-door models 4 locks) (see illustrations 46.5a and 46.5b) and remove the trim from the rack.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, while ensuring that the inner edge of the seal is on top of the trim. Check the proper functioning of the seat belt (see Chapter "Controls and operating techniques").
Meriva Models
8. Disconnect the lower seat belt anchor from the rear seat (see Section 55).

9. On models without head airbags, use a plastic wedge to press out the 8 clips and remove the trim from the C and D pillars (see accompanying illustration). Pull the seat belt out of the trim panel.

10. On models equipped with head airbags, the C and D pillar trim consists of two sections. First, use a plastic wedge to remove the airbag service cover on the C pillar and unscrew the mounting screw, then press the 2 fasteners and remove the trim section from the C pillar. The D pillar trim section is secured with three fasteners, press them, pull out the seat belt and remove the trim.
11. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Tighten the seat belt fastening screw with the required force, having previously lubricated its thread with a fixing compound. Check the proper functioning of the belt (see Chapter "Controls and operating techniques").
