Note: Below is a description of this procedure using the Corsa C model as an example. On Meriva models, removal/installation of the trim is performed in a similar order.


1. Open the tailgate, pull the catches, separate from the tailgate sill and press down the carpet panel (see accompanying illustration).

2. Separate the rubber seal of the rear door opening from the threshold, unscrew the fastening screws and remove the threshold trim (see accompanying illustration).

3. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal, while ensuring that the inner edge of the seal is on top of the trim. Ensure that the hooks are secured correctly.
