Rear door trim — removal and installation (Opel Vectra B)

Removal

1. Remove the ground cable from the battery.



2. Open the rear door and remove the speaker grille.



3. Remove the lower plastic plug from the door opening handle.



4. Remove the top plug or power window switch.



5. Remove the upper screws securing the inner rear door opening handle.





6. Remove the door opening handle.

7. Close the window completely and mark the location of the window handle.



8. Release the mounting bracket and remove the handle.



9. The bracket is released by inserting a clean cloth between the handle and the door trim and, pulling the cloth opposite the ends of the bracket, hook the bracket and release it. In doing so, pull the handle toward you so that after releasing the bracket, it comes off the window regulator splines.





10. Remove the window lift handle washer.



11. Remove the plastic trim from the top of the rear door.



12. Remove the screws securing the rear door trim base.



13. Using a wide-blade screwdriver, pry the door trim away from the door.





14. Remove the door trim from the door lock button.



15. If necessary, remove the protective film from the inside of the door

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
