You will need: end head «at 18», box key «at 13», keys «at 13» And «at 18», wrench for wheel nuts, container for draining brake fluid.
To remove the caliper parts individually, do the following.
1. Loosen the front wheel nuts on the side of the caliper to be replaced, place wheel chocks under the rear wheels («shoes»). Apply the parking brake.
Raise the front of the car with a jack, place it on secure stands, remove the wheel.
2. Turn out a bolt fitting of fastening of the lower tip of a brake hose to a support..
3.... and disconnect the hose from the caliper.
Plug the hose nozzle holes in any way possible to prevent brake fluid from escaping.
The tip of the hose is sealed on both sides with copper washers. Replace the washers with new ones each time the joint is disassembled.
4. Loosen the caliper lower guide pin bolt, holding the finger from turning with the second key..
5.... and remove the bolt.
6. Similarly turn out a bolt of fastening of the top directing finger of a support..
7.... and remove the caliper.
8. Remove the inner..
9.... and outer brake pads.
10. Remove the lower..
11.... and the upper clamping springs of the pads.
12. Loosen the two bolts of the lower and upper fastenings of the guide pads to the steering knuckle..
13.... remove the bolts..
14.... and remove the guide from the steering knuckle.
15. The second wheel caliper is removed in the same way.
16. Establish details of a support in an order, the return to removal. Apply an anaerobic threadlocker to the threads of the bolts before installing the shoe guide to steering knuckle bolts. After installation, restore the level of brake fluid in the reservoir of the main brake cylinder and bleed the air from the brake hydraulic drive (see Bleeding the hydraulic drive of the brake system).
