You will need pliers.
1. Remove the lining of the floor tunnel (see Removal and installation of floor tunnel lining).
2. Loosen the tension of the rear drive cables, for which press the rod of the parking brake automatic adjustment mechanism in the direction shown by the arrow in the photo..
3.... press the rod lock, move the rod all the way back and remove the ends of the cables from the grooves of the equalizer.
4. Place the vehicle on a lift or pit. If you are working on a pit, jack up the rear of the vehicle and place it on secure stands.
5. Disconnect the return spring from the lever of the parking brake actuator mechanism..
6.... and from the bracket, then remove the spring.
7. Disconnect the tip of the rear parking brake cable from the lever of the drive mechanism by removing the tip from the slot of the lever.
8. Squeeze the two clamps of the parking brake cable sheath stop with pliers..
9.... and remove the cable from the hole in the parking brake actuator bracket.
10. Pulling the cable down..
11.... remove its shell from the holder on the trailing arm of the rear suspension.
12. Remove the cable sheath seal from the hole in the base of the body and remove the cable by pulling it out of the passenger compartment down under the car.
13. The second cable is removed in the same way.
14. Install the rear parking brake cables in the reverse order of removal.
Note. Once the cables are installed, the parking brake does not need to be adjusted as the mechanism on the drive lever will automatically adjust the cables to the correct tension.
