You will need: end head «at 15», box key «at 11», keys «at 13», «at 18», wrench for wheel nuts, pliers with thin jaws, container for draining brake fluid.
To remove the caliper parts individually, do the following.
1. Loosen the rear wheel nuts on the side of the caliper to be replaced, place wheel chocks under the front wheels («shoes»). Engage 1st gear in a manual transmission or move the automatic transmission selector lever to position «R» (parking). Raise the rear of the vehicle with a jack, secure it on jack stands, and remove the wheel.
2. Turn out a bolt fitting of fastening of a tip of a brake hose to a support..
3.... and disconnect the hose from the caliper.
Plug the hose nozzle holes in any way possible to prevent brake fluid from escaping.
The tip of the hose is sealed on both sides with copper washers. Replace the washers with new ones each time the joint is disassembled.
4. Disconnect the return spring from the parking brake lever..
5.... and from the bracket, then remove the spring.
6. Disconnect the tip of the rear parking brake cable from the lever of the drive mechanism by removing the tip from the slot in the lever.
7. Squeeze the two clamps of the parking brake cable sheath stop with pliers..
8.... and remove the cable from the hole in the parking brake drive mechanism bracket.
9. Loosen the caliper lower guide pin fastening strut, holding the finger from turning with the second key..
10.... and unscrew the rack.
11. Loosen the upper caliper guide pin bolt while holding the pin from turning with the second wrench…
12.... Remove the bolt and remove the caliper.
13. Remove the inner..
14.... and outer brake pads.
15. Loosen the two bolts of the lower and upper fastenings of the guide pads to the steering knuckle..
16.... remove the bolts..
17.... and remove the guide from the steering knuckle.
18. The second wheel caliper is removed in the same way.
19. Establish details of a support in an order, the return to removal. Apply an anaerobic threadlocker to the threads of the bolts before installing the shoe guide to steering knuckle bolts.
20. After installation, restore the brake fluid level in the reservoir of the main brake cylinder and bleed the air from the brake hydraulic drive (see Bleeding the hydraulic drive of the brake system).
21. Adjust parking brake actuator (see Parking brake actuator adjustment).
