General information about replacing brake hydraulic hoses and tubes (Opel Astra J)

            0

Replace hoses and tubes if they are damaged. In addition, we recommend replacing hoses every 150,000 km or 5 years of vehicle operation as a preventive measure (whichever comes first), even if they are not damaged externally. The rubber of the hoses ages, and they can burst unexpectedly when braking.

You will need: open-end wrench "11", special wrench "13" for brake pipes, TORX E10 wrench.

You will need: open-end wrench «11», special wrench «13» for brake pipes, TORX E10 wrench.

Note: The nuts that hold the brake pipes are usually very tight. When trying to loosen them with a regular wrench, the edges of the nuts are crushed, so we recommend using special wrenches for brake pipes.
