Removal
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Disconnect the wiring from the intake air temperature sensor and the wiring from the warm air flow meter.
3. Remove the crankcase ventilation hoses.
4. Remove the coolant hoses from the air intake hoses, the warm air mass flow meter along with the air intake hoses, the top of the air cleaner and the throttle body.
5. Press the mounting brackets of the 1st and 4th cylinder injectors into the connector strips (with a screwdriver) - simultaneously lift the strips. On the back of the strip there are 6 connections, 4 of which are for the injectors.
6. Disconnect the knock sensor wiring harness from the connector strip.
7. Attach a 1 meter long piece of wire to the knock sensor wiring connector (mark the direction).
8. Remove the knock sensor from the cylinder block (see illustration).

9. Disconnect the knock sensor wiring from the independent wiring.
Installation
10. Perform installation in reverse order, paying attention to the following.
11. Before installation, make sure the sensor is absolutely clean. Clean the sensor contact surface located on the cylinder block. Do not use washers of a different shape.
12. Carefully install the sensor into the block. Tighten to the required tightening torque.
13. Position the knock sensor wiring between the tabs on the intake manifold.
14. Insert the knock sensor wiring connector into the connector strip.
15. Correctly align the injector spring clips as they may interfere with the engagement of the connector strips. It is necessary that there is proper contact between the connector strip and the injector.
16. When the strip of connecting connectors is fixed, a click should be heard.
17. Make sure the hoses are in good condition and securely fastened with two clamps.
