Intake Manifold (SOHC Engine with Multec) — Removal and Installation (Opel Vectra A)

Removal

1. Depressurize the fuel system (Chapter 8).

2. Remove the air block (see Chapter 5).

3. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

4. Remove the throttle body assembly (see Chapter 32), or disconnect the throttle cable, electrical wiring, fuel and vacuum hoses and pipes so that the manifold can be removed from the throttle body.

5. Drain the cooling system (see Section 3).

6. Then proceed as described in Section 4A, Chapter 26, paragraph 4 and further.

Installation

7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal; replace all gaskets and seals.
