Air Block — Removal and Installation (Opel Vectra A)

Removal

1. The air box, if equipped, is secured to the top of the throttle body with two or three bolts. Note the direction and connections of the IAT vacuum pipes.

2. Disconnect the engine breather hose from the air block and the vacuum pipe from the coupling at the rear of the throttle body (see illustration).



3. Do not lose the O-ring when removing the air block.

Installation

4. When installing, check that the O-ring is correctly placed in the groove on the back of the air unit; tighten the screws and connect the vacuum pipe and breather hose (see illustrations).
