The fuel injection system is sealed, so extra precautions must be taken when disconnecting fuel lines. When disconnecting a fuel line coupling, loosen it slowly to avoid a sudden drop in pressure that could cause fuel to squirt out.
The fuel pressure check should be carried out by an Opel dealer or other specialist who has the necessary special equipment.
