Electromagnetic block and pump motor relay
Removal
1. The relay of the electromagnetic unit and the pump motor are installed on the hydraulic modulator.
2. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
3. Remove the mounting screw and take out the plastic cover of the hydraulic modulator.
4. Remove the relay. The small block is the electromagnetic block relay, and the large block is the pump motor relay.
Installation
5. Perform installation in reverse order.
6. Check that the ABS warning light goes out when the engine is first started after the relays have been removed. Have the ABS system checked by an Opel dealer using special equipment as soon as possible.
Anti-jamming relay
Removal
7. The anti-jamming relay is located in the relay box in the left rear of the engine compartment.
8. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
9. Unfasten the cover and open the relay box, then remove the relay (see illustration).
Installation
10. Perform installation in reverse order, see also point 6.
