Raise the front of the car.
Using a portable lamp or flashlight, inspect the seals for damage, paying attention to possible traces of oil on and near the seals.
If a damaged cuff is found, replace the corresponding joint, since the dirt that has penetrated has probably already damaged it.
Check the reliability of the fastening of the steering gear tip nuts without turning the nut. Replace loose nuts.
