It is necessary to remove air every time after opening the system.
With the engine off, open the reservoir cap.
Add oil up to mark 1 ("MAX").
Start the engine and immediately add oil to mark 2 ("MIN").
Turn the steering wheel slowly 2-3 times to the left and right by about 45°and 2 times from lock to lock.
Check again and, if necessary, correct the oil level.
Stop the engine and check the oil level.
When the engine is warm, the oil level should reach mark 1 on the dipstick, and when the engine is cold, it should not fall below mark 2. The engine is considered warm at an oil temperature of 80°C, and cold - at a temperature of 20°C.
If necessary, correct the oil level. Only ATF oil should be added (known as Dexron) for automatic transmissions (Opel part number: 1940691 (90020172)). Be sure to fill in oil through a strainer, as even the smallest particles of contaminants can lead to malfunctions of the hydraulic system.
The volume of oil to be filled is 1 liter. Pour oil in small portions.
Close the oil reservoir cap.
