With the engine off, open the tank cap.

Add oil up to the 1 ("MAX") mark.
Start the engine and immediately add oil up to the 2 ("MIN") mark.
Turn the steering wheel slowly two or three times to the left and right by approximately 45° and 2 times from lock to lock.
Check the oil level again and adjust it if necessary.
Stop the engine and check the oil level.
When the engine is warm, the oil level should reach mark 1 on the dipstick, and when cold, it should not fall below mark 2. The engine is considered warm when the oil temperature is 80°C, and cold when it is 20°C.
If necessary, adjust the oil level. Only ATF oil should be added (known as Dexron) for automatic transmissions (Opel part number: 1940691 (90020172)). It is essential to fill the oil through a mesh filter, as even the smallest particles of dirt can cause problems with the hydraulic system.
The volume of oil to be poured is 1 liter. Pour oil in small portions.
Close the oil tank cap.
