The internal controls of the gearbox are shown in the figure 5.73.

Removal



1. Install the crankcase on the B.Vi.1417 fixture plate and secure it with three bolts.

2. Remove the shaft bearing supports using a 42 mm diameter puller and an inertial puller (figure 5.74).

Caution! Be careful not to mix up the three adjusting shims.


3. Remove the outer support of the large differential bearing using a punch with a thin cylindrical end (figure 5.75).

Installation



4. Install the adjustable support B. Vi. 1418 under the crankcase under the corresponding hole. Install the adjusting linings in the corresponding holes. Install the shaft bearing supports using tool B. Vi. 1419 (figure 5.76).

5. Install the differential bearing support using tool B. Vi. 1510H (figure 5.77).
