The differential is shown in the figure 5.68.

Disassembly



1. Remove the tripod joint planetary gear snap ring A and pull out the gasket B.

2. Remove the planetary gear of the tripod joint. Clamp the housing in a vice with special clamps and remove the gear.

3. Remove the satellites and planetary gear, attaching spacer washers to the corresponding satellites.

4. Check the condition of the teeth (gear - satellites - planetary gears), washers (satellites - planetary gears), housings.

5. Remove the large bearing using a puller (figure 5.69).

6. Remove the small bearing using a puller (figure 5.70).

Assembly



7. Assembly and installation are carried out in the reverse order of removal.

8. Install the small bearing using tool B. Vi. 1510A (figure 5.71).

9. Install the large bearing using tool B. Vi. 15101 (figure 5.72).
