Removal
1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the upper gearbox cover (if there is one), clamp-on, ball ends A of the gear selection and shift cables, two clamps B of the gear selection and shift cables (figure 5.91).

3. Remove the center console.
4. Lift the protective material to remove the two nuts securing the shift cable guide (figure 5.92).

5. Unscrew the bolt D securing the gear shift lever housing and the three nuts E securing the gear shift lever housing (figure 5.93).

6. Disconnect the gear selector and shift cables together with the gear shift lever housing.
Installation
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
