2.2L Diesel Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (Opel Frontera B)

Removal

Disconnect the air intake hose from the air intake duct and move it to the side.

Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the coolant temperature sensor.



Remove the coolant temperature sensor (2) from the thermostat housing and collect the leaking coolant.

Installation

Screw the coolant temperature sensor into the thermostat housing and tighten it to 10 Nm.

Connect the electrical connector to the coolant temperature sensor.

Connect the air intake hose to the air intake duct and secure it with clamps.

Fill the engine cooling system with coolant, bleed the cooling system and check the cooling system for leaks (see the relevant chapter).
