- Check your tire pressure.
- Check the level of engine oil and other operating fluids in the engine compartment.
- All glass, rear view mirrors and external lighting must be ready for use and clear of dirt, snow and ice.
- There should be no objects on the shelf behind the back of the rear seat that are reflected in the glass and obstruct the view through the glass, and that could move to the front of the passenger compartment during sudden braking.
- Check that the seats, seat belts and rear view mirrors are adjusted correctly.
- Check the brakes.
