Front bumper (Opel Frontera B)

Removal

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

Disconnect the connectors from the fog lights.

Disconnect the hoses from the headlight washer sprayers.

Remove the bolts and pull straight forward to remove the front bumper (1) from the vehicle.

Tighten the nuts and remove the side brackets (2) securing the front bumper.

Installation

Install the side brackets (2) and secure them with nuts, tightening them by hand.

Install the front bumper (1) and secure with bolts, tightening them by hand.

Connect the hoses to the headlight washer sprayers.

Connect the connectors to the fog lights.

Adjust the gap between the front fenders and the sides of the bumper.



Gap A: 14.5 mm



Tighten the front bumper mounting bolts to 120 Nm.

In the sequence shown in the figure, tighten the front bumper side bracket mounting nuts to a torque of 6 N·m.



Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
